Mark, i dont know if you read these comments but good lord are the new remixes on the recent cowboy deluxe edition AWFUL. I am not an erasure die hard fan, cowboy and nightbird being my faves but no matter what erasure track you chose to "remix" they are infinitely better than the officially released ones for the simple reason that you still keep the essence of whichever song it may be. Basically like a good old fashioned 80s extended 12" version of whatever song by whichever artist it was. Those 12"s are mostly timeless i think we can all agree on. But seriously who here has recently gave lets say thr phil kelsey remix of Rock Me Gently. Its a Phil Kelsey track NOT an erasure remix. As with so many 90s remixes there is virtually NOTHING of the original song in them. Im going off the rails ranting here so let me just say how i wish Mute/Vince/and or Andy would have just let YOU do the "remixes " for the second disc of cowboy. It could have been like an extended tribute of the album since it is wonderfully and infinitely tuneful . Oh and just to really get everyone aggravated with me, Andy Bell's Non Stop is a fantastic album, yes i said it lol. FANTASTIC.
